The threads on my comforter recently became unraveled, much to the fascination of George, who enjoys chewing on them. When forced to explore new bedding options I realized what a complicated purchase it was, but fortunately my more domesticated friends were able to teach me the finer points of duvets and down -alternative comforters.
A duvet from the Isaac Mizrahi Pop Flower Bedding Collection caught my eye on the Target website and after reading the rave reviews I decided to take the plunge. Most of the reviews mentioned how much it brightens up a room. One happy customer reported it even got compliments from the cable guy. As you can see above, my bed now GLOWS and my entire bedroom basks in a soft orange light. Even George seems okay with the change. Although Mizrahi's wikipedia entry characterizes him as a bit of a misogynist lout, I love his designs!
